.) It can cost upward of $25 to park in Hollywood’s club-adjacent lots. But it’s only $2 to park for four hours at the Hollywood and Highland parking structure with validation from the Visitor Center.

.) If you have a hybrid car, the Cahuenga Corridor’s soon-to-open eco-conscious bar Ecco will let you valet free of charge.

.) Don’t let the lack of parking on Glendale Boulevard deter you from Silverlake’s Cha Cha Lounge. The Bank of America diagonally across the street allows people to park in its lot after business hours.

.) You’re always supposed to feed the meter—even when there’s still time left on it! If a meter maid catches you taking advantage of a previous person’s coins, you could get slapped with a $35 ticket. But it’s usually free to park at a meter after 6 p.m. and all day Sunday.

.) Downtown Culver City has a centralized valet system, meaning you can drop off your car at any valet stand and then pick it up at a different one. Yes, really!

.) In late September, the Hollywood Property Alliance will launch navigatehollywood.com, an interactive website dedicated to navigating the neighborhood—from parking access and public transportation to street closures and construction.

.) It’s totally kosher to park in a yellow curb zone after 6 p.m. (until 7 a.m.) and all day Sunday. Ditto for green curb zones (until 8 a.m.).
