When it comes to dorky dancing—the chicken dance, the lawn mower—we thought "the sprain" (as seen on "Saved by the Bell") topped them all. Enter Sarah Nguyen, the tireless indie-club hopper known as much for her signature style (black rimmed glasses and neon Nike sneakers) as she is for her made-up dance move, known as “the sidekick.” Sarah can be a little shy, but once she’s loosened up, she stretches out her arms and begins to move around her thumbs as if she were typing on a Sidekick, all the while swaying the rest of her body to the beat. The best part? She’s started a dance revolution—now tons of indie clubbers are rocking “the sidekick” at Boardner's, The Knitting Factory and The Avalon.
