- Those Starline Tours aren’t just for tourists on the hunt for Britney Spears’ house. You can reserve a 12-person open-top van for $100 an hour (which works out to about $8 per person) to take your party crew on a citywide barhop. The bus is driven by a guide, but he’ll take you anywhere you want to go while imparting fun facts about L.A. Call 323-463-9600 to make a reservation. There are 24-, 57-, and 73-passenger options as well.
- Prefer your barhopping without a dose of L.A. trivia? L.A. Party Bus (lapartybus.com) will hook you up with, well, a party bus that’s outfitted like a Vegas nightclub, complete with a stripper pole. Rates change per season; figure around $100 per hour for buses that seat up to 43. There’s also Dolce Group’s Short Bus (theshortbusla.com), which looks like a pimped-out school bus. Sure, it’s bright yellow on the outside, but inside there’s plush seating, surround sound, LCD TVs and a stocked bar. It costs $135 per hour on weekend nights (with a four-hour minimum). But it also carts 14 people and includes VIP service at all the Dolce Group properties: Ketchup, Dolce, Bella, Geisha House and, most notably, Les Deux.
- If a limo is more your speed, check into the Crescent in Beverly Hills. Until the end of the year, guests can get the royal treatment for a whopping $650. Not only will the hotel’s bartenders liquor you up with their signature cocktails, but the concierge will get you a limousine for the evening and arrange access to any venue, as available, no matter how exclusive. Once back at the hotel, you can crash in a room fit for a queen and wake up with the hotel restaurant’s hangover cure: poached eggs, French toast bites with sweet apple compote, and crispy bacon. The cherry on top? The hotel will wash your own car free of charge. Contact the Crescent at 310-247-0505 or sleep@crescentbh.com.
