WTF? Nightlife drama of the worst kind
In the L.A. nightlife scene, 2008 has started off with a bang. And a stabbing. And a fire.

And we're only a week in.

L.A.'s '08 is starting to make Britney's '07 look good: First there was that shooting at Les Deux late last year, which spilled out into the parking lot and left two men wounded. Then, just a few days ago, a young woman was stabbed on the dance floor at Crash Mansion L.A., an event that provoked yet another parking lot shoot-out, this time ending in the death of a 19-year-old clubber. And just yesterday, a fire raged for over two hours at NoHo's months-old Bank Heist, burning the club's interior to a crisp and sending several firefighters to the hospital (the cause of the blaze is still "under investigation").

WTF? At this rate, by the end of the year we'll be left with hardly any places to enjoy overpriced, watered-down mixed drinks and slow dance to One Republic.

Luckily, no cast members from "The Hills" have been harmed in this recent wave of mayhem.
