For nearly a century, Venice's Townhouse has withstood the test of time and witnessed its share of booze-fueled history. To boot, the basement was a speakeasy during prohibition, and legend has it Jim Morrison peed on a wall here once (take that, Western Civ.). An old-fashioned saloon turned neighborhood dive bar, in mid-2007 Townhouse got revamped by the same people who own Little Temple and Zanzibar. Though you can still find a decent selection of Irish whiskey in these hallowed halls, gone is the old jukebox; now DJs and Top 40 reign supreme.
