Luckily for the South Bay, the burlesque invasion has infiltrated Manhattan Beach in the form of an upscale, chic martini lounge that offers bottle service, nightly cabaret shows featuring strangely acrobatic and flexible Bettie Page look-alikes accompanied by a live band, a sophisticated tapas-style dinner menu (we recommend the seared duck breast with glogg sauce or Thai red curry shrimp) and a Frank Sinatra impersonator every Sunday at 5 p.m. (Get all that?) This is the place to spend your hard-earned bucks for entertainment that lasts all night; once the burlesque dancers run off stage, a DJ takes over to keep the dance floor stirring.
