Very nice place. The set up is nice. The only thing is that I'm not a big fan of Hollywood. But overall it was a good place

The epitome of the Hollywood scene. Very expensive and uptight people everywhere. But the atmosphere and scene is nice.

This place was really nice. Kind of annoying at the door because there was no line, just a blob of people trying to get in. Wait time was about 10 minutes but it was worth it. Music was perfect (top 40s, hip hops, all the latest). Drinks were free till 11. Wednesday nights are the best for Area, if you go any other day of the week, your experience might not be that great. No celeb spottings however, kinda bummed. But overall, awesome place, will definitely go back.

I went on a tuesday, and found this place to be ok. There was some kind of lingerie model party, but otherwise it was pretty dead. Doorman was kind of a doucheboy. Crowd was kind of lame. I did see Nickelback there, and several wannabes trying to talk to the lead singer. Towards the end of the night I saw the dumb cracked-out skinny girl from America's Most Smartest Model come in with her busted friend. Her eyes were about to pop out of her dumb little head, but it's not her fault. I believe she is hyperthyroid.
