They really need to get it together! It's a beautiful place with great food! The problem came when we were waiting to get in. My assistant had made reservations for bottle service. We had to wait over and 30 mins because they couldn't quote on quote find us on the list... The bouncers are total jack asses!

Waiting in line was about, well, 2 seconds. If you get reservations for dinner, you're more likely to get in. Inside was absolutely beautiful. The food was pretty good. The waitresses were very sweet and beautiful. Some A-list celeb spottings. The music could have been MUCH better. A LOT of 80s and repetition. DJ repeated a lot of the songs he played. The last hour had awesome dancing music (Top 40s). Overall it was almost perfect.

Being on the guest list means absolutely nothing at GOA. Especially if a bald gentleman wearing a scarf during 70 degree weather with fake glasses is there. We were on the list but he attempted to let C grade "actors" from reality shows in before any other ladies. On top of it.. I was shocked to see they would not let Chris Evans (Fantastic Four, Nanny Diaries) in. From my experience, the staff was really nice inside and the atmosphere was gorgeous. But having to deal with bouncers with ego's who put you down and insult you before going in was a total turn - off and not worth it.

We were on the list because Ria from the W Hotel called Rene. We get there and the sent us to the bottle service line (so far good) We see Rene and she checks the list and tells us she'll be with us in a moment. We wait; an hour later she comes out and tells us that we are not on the list which she had already seen and I saw our name!!!!! And tells us she can't accomodate us and tells the bouncer to remove us from the line SHE IS A she was super Rude and Thinks she is all that. She only works at the place. we were very disapointed because she let in like 40 people and kept ignoring us

This place is incredible. We were able to get dinner reservations (which was super hard, but worth the work!). The food is some of the best sushi we have ever had. It is a very, very limited menu, but all of it was great. Try the lobster hand roll. We were worried that the service would be bad - given it is one of he hardest places in LA to get into right now, but it was great. Our server was really nice and funny. Everyone is really friendly. At about 10:30, the place goes into club mode - with a rockin dj! The place is beautiful as well.
Thanks Goa for not being another stupid, vapid LA club trying to be the cool spot.
