The nightclub half of the NoHo restaurant/bar/lounge/music venue, located in a converted Security Pacific Bank building, gets the lion’s share of the old bank’s space. To compete with the 21 active theatres in a one-mile radius of the club, Heist hosts live music nights, comedy events and—why not?—Bomb Cherry Dolls, a weekly cabaret show. Weekdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the club offers $5 beer and well-drink specials, as well as a limited bar menu featuring $5 appetizers such as hot spinach and artichoke dip. A meal at on-site restaurant Bank guarantees admission to club Heist, so plan a pre-drinkin’ meal to skip the velvet rope.
