Bad. Don't Bother.

I was visiting LA with a couple of girlfriends and We heard alot about this place so we decided to check it out. We had to wait almost 30 minutes in line while the bouncer ignored us and continually paid attention to those "VIP's" in the line for bottle service. When scantily-clad girls (who looked underage) would try to catch his attention, he would literally whistle for them and let them right in. Oh, the cocktail waitresses looked amused at all of us queing up in line.
It was a Friday night and I expected it to be crowded, but that is an understatement. We arrived at ten and by midnight it was jam-paked. There was no place to move, let alone dance.
Bottom line-Do not waste your time. Snobby people that think this club is THE place to be. Crown Bar was much better. I felt like I was in a strip club.

Do not go to this place. It is over priced and the employees are arrogant.

I was recently the maid of honor in a wedding in so cal. A month before the bachelorette party (that I had to plan) I contacted Les Deux to reserve a table. I had multiple emails with them, they emailed me a credit card form, I filled the form and faxed it back with an agreement to purchase a table for $1000.00 with VIP entry and the table was to be decorated with balloons and cupcakes. I reconfirmed this reservation via email 2 times and then called Les Deux 2 nights before the bachelorette party to triple check that I was on the list... all my annoying inquiries confirmed they had me on the list. (I was stressed out because I was in charge of a bachelorette party in LA - I live in San Fran - and I had to entertain 13 girls - I did not want the 13 girls and the bride waiting in line).

Anyhow, I showed up to Les Deux at 10pm in a limo with 13 girls... walked up to the VIP entrance and they said they did not have my name on the list, had no idea what i was talking about and were not going to let me in. THANK GAWD FOR MY IPHONE -- I pulled up the 15 emails with my confirmations and they finally, after much negotiating, let me inside... with out any apology, zero cupcakes, zero balloons, and a terribly rude attitude.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!

Its official, Les Deux is a has-been. No longer is the crowd swarming with the los angeles elite but with a bunch of posers and disgusting hoodrats. Let's start the night...
If any of you don't already know, Les Deux is a pick&choose type of place. Tons of people stand outside waiting for "D" the bouncer to usher you in beyond the cheap velvet ropes. If you have connects to get inside, defenitely use them. The outside of the club is filthy, compared to the other clubs in LA such as Villa&Goa,the outside is a line of iron gates you find at concerts and red ropes(typical), Les Deux is a hole in the ground. Luckily I know Kevin, another bouncer that got me and 4 of my friends inside the club...wasn't too hard. Once inside the music isn't that great, mostly old school and techno&the club isn't as amazing as people might say. Cement walls with flowers scattered around. The patio is opened to those who like to be seen, mostly "nobody's". Sad to declare this club done. Drinks aren't that spectacular and pricey for the same drink you can find at S bar or Area, LA clubs that define the supreme. Jesse McCartney was there last night...pitiful. I honestly have to say that its past its prime. Better off at Element next door or the Geisha House up the street.

This place is ridiculous. To get to Les- Deux you need to know somebody or you will be standing in the line FOREVER. The bouncers are mean and rude and when you ask why is so hard to get in they say " have a patience" or who you are or who you are with. Anyway don't waste your time it is not wort it.

Waste of a good outfit

It took about 5 minutes to get in, only because I knew someone promoting. The music sucked. There were 2 dance floors, one inside and one outside. The inside one was the room all the way in the back of the building. TINY space with its own DJ and a bunch of people spilling drinks on eachother. The outside music was 70s/80s and there really wasn't a dance floor, just people standing around talking. The crowd sucked. It was a bunch of posers. NO celebrities. Everyone thought they were too good for everyone else. We left at about 12. Pretty big waste of a night and hot outfit.

Don't waste your time. The crowd was boring, the food was average and the drinks were lousy! If you want to have a great cocktail go to Geisha. Awesome bartender, great atmosphere.

i love hollywood, i love parties, i love hollywood parties, i basically love it all... but!!! if you are even considering going to les deux--do youself a favor and run the other way! the bouncer will not let you in unless you are a blond white girl, or you are with a blond white chick. there is no line to get in, they pick and choose who they will let in, it doesn't matter how long you've been waiting, if a bunch of blond girls arrive, they will get in first! --i'm not exaggerating! the guys are few and not hot, there are some cute "underage" girls, but there were some real hoodrats that i can not believe they let in..!! don't get me wrong, i understand that they have to be picky as to who they let in, to keep it "exclusive" but where do you draw the line from exclusivity and discrimination? a waste of time. ps. if you are a guy, forget about getting in... unless maybe you are in drag as a blond chick.

Not sure what the English translation of Les Deux has anything to do with Hollywood. This place is posh, snobby and the most common phrase I've heard is "is this place for realzz? "The line outside is only worth while if you are ready to spend 1 hour on you're side kick acting like you are busy when in all reality you are trying not to look like the other 100 people outside the door begging like puppies to get in. If you do have the hook up or are the newest supermodel this place is very worthwhile. Tuesdays and Saturdays are the hot nights. If you're not a somebody or know a somebody in this industry, don't bother going. Nothing personal it is just the way this damn town works.
