Culver City’s nightlife been resuscitated, thanks to the opening of Rush Street, where they’ve adopted elements of the Hollywood bar scene (but chuck L.A. attitude out the door) in a Chicago-like atmosphere, hence the name. You’ll find resident DJ A.C. on the decks every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights spinning electro, hip hop, ‘80s and indie jams on the second-floor mezzanine that overlooks the entire bar (but the stripper pole in the VIP lounge is calling your name). If it gets too hot and heavy inside, Rush Street has the only rooftop patio in Culver City.
