This mild-mannered Mexican watering hole in the heart of downtown has been transformed into one of the hottest new clubs in the city, attracting an ever-growing gaggle of Eastside hipsters to their wildly popular weekend party nights, like Thursdays where you can get bent on Three Dollar Dewar's. But it's the Friday night Punky Reggae Party where La Cita really catches fire. The Dub Club and Part-Time Punk DJs get together to blast the best in ska, punk and reggae to a young, party-ready crowd that just can't get enough of that rocksteady stuff. A super good time that's not to be missed. Catch a breather out back in the recently opened patio, where smokers puff away and those looking for love can make a move.

The crowd is young, trendy and oh so pretty, but always ready to party down. Fridays are just as raucous, with the weekly "Punky Reggae" event keeping bodies moving to a clever blend of both. Expect to hear lots of Clash, Specials, Jam and Selector on the dance floor. This night is getting as busy as Thursday, so get their before 10 p.m. to reserve your space among the crush.
