I would suggest you order the Velveeta
Quesadilla on your first visit.

The guy ahead (or below, not sure how this site works) doesn't know what he's talking about. I was searching for the website for Mission (complaint: no business website?!) to post for my birthday extravaganza for my friends and saw this review. WAAY off track. The only thing he/she had accurate was beautiful.
I live in the neighborhood and have been to this establishment a few times. AmAZING drinks, you can't taste the alcohol because the fruit is FRESH. You can see it sitting right there on the bar. When a drink is made well, you shouldn't be able to taste the alcohol. As a previous bartender, I know this. The house tequila is apparently 100% agave, don't remember what the brand is, but the bartender told me it recently changed over. Grapefruit lavender and mango - YUM! Edgar (one of the bartenders) recommended a whole slew of tequilas for me and my girlfriend after work one day. (STRESSFUL DAY!!) After the shot of Don Ferlano, we were on the right track! He even brought down bottles for us to smell! Um, hi good customer service!
And SRSLY, "microwaved" taco's and something about taco bell? You've got to be kidding me. So far I've had the chicken, the smoked pork and the fish. As a former vegetarian who's very picky about meat, these were all perfect. Melt in your mouth perfect. I can complain that the habanero sauce was super hot. But I was warned by the server.
All in all, amazing drinks and food. The atmosphere is beautiful, lit by dim lights and stained glass. Will be back many times!
Report This ReviewMy girl and I was was so excited to try this place but what a let down. The margarita was okay but the bar tender was not knowledgable with the tequilas on hand. We did not get napkins, place settings, or even straws with our drinks. It was disorganized and the server seem untrained. Like I said, the margarita was ok but for $13 a pop for a decent tequila. This place is no Marix or El Carmen. This place is basically margaritas with microwaved food. It's like Taco Bell with a liquor liscense. Pretty lame. Won't be returning.
