For fine wining and dining at an elegant, private country club without splurging on a membership, Ramsey’s at the Club (not to be confused with Gordon Ramsay at The London West Hollywood) is your best bet. It’s located in the Sport Center at the Toluca Lake Tennis Club (adjacent to Warner Bros. Studios), and open to the public so just about anyone can hobnob with high society. The bar is set in a sophisticated Mediterranean-style building, and the outdoor patio is just as luxurious and cozy, with superb views of the club’s tennis courts—not to mention babes in short tennis skirts. Word to the wise: the bar menu is only served until 9 p.m., so don’t expect a crowd of late-night party animals, this is still a country club after all.
