If only politics could always be this fun. And this drunk.
Every oenophiles home away from home, Santa Monica’s Trip Bar is usually the perfect place to unwind with your buddies over a pint of brew. But on Tuesdays, Trip Bar serves up full pints of democracy at Drinking Liberally, an "informal, inclusive progressive social group" that's as serious about its "liberal" as it is about its "drinking."
Now a fun, casual forum for Democrats around the country to let their hair down and raises their glasses, Drinking Liberally had its humble beginnings in New York City back in 2003. Since then, dozens of chapters have sprung up in nearly every major city in America, from Portland, Ore. to Hunstville, Ala.
And if you can't make it out, please remember to drink—er, we mean vote—liberally on Election Day.
