Amen for dive bars! A visit to Rae's Lounge is like traveling through a portal to a working class bar in Anytown, U.S.A. From the ubiquitous midwestern wood-paneling to the bar floating in the center of the room, there are plenty of stools available for patrons weary from a hard day at the plant...er, studio, er, work release program(?)...who don't want to deal with anything remotely "Hollywood." It's the sort of place where everybody could theoretically know your name, but instead prefer to keep to themselves--which makes it an excellent location for sulking over stiff drinks.

We LOVE Rae's lounge! Cheap pool, darts for geniouses, karaoke, AND a blues jam...could it get any better? Definitely feels like a suburb of milw...
