If you’re thirsty for a hangover that’s worth every throbbing pain, look no further than Trader Vic’s, which relocated from its historic home at the Beverly Hills Hilton to the neon-lit L.A. Live. The drink menu reads like an encyclopedia of Tiki drinks from the Potted Parrot made with light rum, orange Curaçao, and fresh juices to the fruity rum Scorpion Bowl made big enough for sharing. Of course it also includes the “original mai tai,” which Trader Vic’s says it invented in 1944.
