Which way to Tiki-Ti?

Fun fact: Tiki bars aren't some South Pacific export, but rather an L.A. creation. Our city gave birth to the Polynesian theme bar in 1933 with "Don the Beachcomber." (L.A. is also home to the original karaoke bar!) In the last few months, we’ve seen a Tiki revival with the revamping of Trader Vic’s in Beverly Hills and the new Puka Bar in Long Beach, but when we want to “puka,” our heart belongs to Tiki-Ti.
