The party people at TV Guide struck again with their annual bash on Emmy night, this year taking over the Kress and turning it into a Japanese escape that was equal parts fantasy and delicious. (More sushi please!) There were dancing geishas, oversized bonsai trees, origami cranes hanging for the ceiling and kimono-clad girls, all care of event producer Tony Schubert of Event Eleven. Of course the place was crawling with TV stars, and we think they’d agree that surprise headliners the Bravery were quite the scene-stealers, except for maybe LiLo and SamRo; they remained seated in a corner by the DJ booth during the show.
What did you think of tonight’s Emmys?
Lauren Conrad: I went and I presented.
Are you wearing one of your dresses?
LC: I am, yeah.
