Even in our health-conscious town, where the smoking bans extend outdoors, a cigarette and cocktail is a fashionable combo. Just like the neon sign on the building, Liquid Kitty’s signature cocktail, a Ketel One martini called the Liquid Kitty, comes with an unfiltered cigarette. This two-course nightlife staple has been on the menu since the bar opened in 1996. When asked if this pairing ever causes problems, owner David Childs recalls the time a guy walked up to the bartender with the cigarette soaking in the martini: "He was a bit confused and said it really didn't taste that good." We suspect the man is now addicted to Nico-tinis.
