Cha Cha Lounge
2375 Glendale Blvd. -
Los Angeles
The cheap PBR at the Cha Cha certainly does a good job of loosening people up, especially their lips. For them, might I recommend tucking into the photo booth built into the wall?
Stone Rose Lounge
8555 Beverly Blvd. - Los AngelesFor such a sophisticated ultra-lounge, this place certainly doesn’t inspire manners. There are always couples curled up on the couches, making out; some even stretch out together on the love seats. At least there are lots of dark corners.
The Otheroom
1201 Abbot Kinney Blvd. - VeniceThis charming Venice bar seems innocent; people are even allowed to bring their dogs. But what happens when your cute pooch lures the hottest person in the room over to you? You tie the dog to a chair and escape to the hidden candle-lit room that’s no bigger than a closet. It’s like seven minutes in heaven, but for adults.
Bordello
901 E. 1st St. - Los AngelesLipstick-red walls and black chandeliers set the scene for a romantic date. The debauched parlor room across the bar, complete with vintage love seats (and doors that close!), sets the scene for sealing the deal.
The Hideout
112 West Channel Rd. - Santa MonicaNot only is this bar hidden in Santa Monica on a street no one’s ever heard of, the lounge also has a curtain, so you can shield yourself from the prying eyes of the bartender.
Nirvana
8689 Wilshire Blvd. - Beverly HillsFor $1,000, you and your make-out buddy can reserve the private room at Nirvana, a restaurant and lounge with a Kama Sutra vibe. There’s a leather-upholstered bed with silk pillows, and you can close the door for ultimate privacy. Actually, if you’re in the mood for a real saliva-fest, the room fits up to 12 people.
