Televised sports and garlic wings rule the roost at Big Wangs. The bar is in the "barn," and although subtle country murals adorn the walls, this sports bar doesn't beat you over the head with its country theme. It's pretty much all about the game, the pool table and the flirtation between cool Hollywood twenty-somethings taking a break from the velvet-rope scene. Popular with the young indie crowd, the Midwest theme also means cheap prices and no cover or attitude—which sets it miles apart from nearby Hollywood chic bars.
