Great spot for everything sports bar

I know Metromix well from its inception in Chicago and am ecstatic that it has now gotten into LA. The summary they list is totally accurate - cheap & GOOD food (best chili cheese fries on the planet as they oven bake them here), super people watching, active place, friendly crowd and yes it does remind you of a Midwest college town Sports bar.

The wings are big & give a sense of value but they are not spicy at all - make sure to ask for Tabasco when ordering. The staff is slow in service but make up for it in smiles & personality. Amazingly this place seems to get every out of staters - meaning that on weekends, depending on who is playing the mix will change. So it's not on Sunday only a certain NFL city and Saturday is the best as every week whoever has a big game will pile in. Guess its the local watering hole for the "local" Hollywood actors & actresses who aren't really local, if you get what I mean. Just recall that fact for the weekends as it forces you to get there early if you and a group are meeting as Sat. & Sun. during the day it is tough to get a seat for groups of 2 even. When games turnover between viewing times the place turns nicely so if you are into watching double or triple sessions you will find a seat then. See you there on the weekends and hope you'll spring for the chili cheese fries for us to share.
