The Parlor is a great place for a laid back business lunch for people who like a brew or something stronger mid-day. Great service and really good food. It is now a required lunch place for me each time I'm in LA. While I was waiting for my business clients to arrive, I intentionally asked the rather beautiful bartender for and unusual drink that I didn't expect her to know. Not only did she know the drink, but she asked me which of the two traditional options of it I wanted. From one former college bartender... I was very impressed. You won't go wrong checking this place out, and I'll bet that like me you will become a regular customer.

I have always appreciated a ggod place in Santa Monica and I had a lot of of high
hopes for Parlor. But their high prices combined with the arrogance of management
made me realize that I will still be looking for a solid bar in Santa Monica. This place is
gone in 6 months just like the rest of them. Don't waste your loyalty.

from the outside it looks like a white table cloth restaurant. once inside you can tell its definately a sports bar. during college games A LOT of USC and UCLA girls come out. ive probably NEVER in my life seen the quality of girls at ANY other sports bar. all in all most people are nice, approachable, and not too stuck up--which is hard to find in this town.
daily happy hour specials from 4-8, including $3 beers. however, every time i leave this place i end up spending $60--which i dont really understand. there is no way i just drank 20 guinesses during the past 2.5 hours! they dont give you itemized receipts--which is tough. i would reccomend asking for one if you go.
service is ok. not stellar. i would stick with the bars, not the waitstaff.
my nachos the other day took more than 1.5 hours! i received the wrong beer a few times. i told the waitress it was ok, but, i thought i might be comped for something.
if it wasnt 100 yards from my house, id probably not go there nearly as much. maybe its just a hot spot because its really new?
