We always raise a dubious eyebrow at any cultural phenomenon spawned from an ad campaign (Geico cavemen, anyone?) but this Dos Equis-sponsored Most Interesting Show in the World (a spinoff of the beer company’s “Most Interesting Man” spots) actually features a real-life man of intrigue: Jim Rose. Known to us as “that creepy guy who shoves nails up his schnozzle,” Rose will host a night of aerial acrobats, Japanese robotic dancers, burlesque hotties, fire jugglers, sword swallowers and a “bow and arrow contortionist.” We might need a few fine Mexican beers before we watch that last one.

Henry Fonda Theater, 6126 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood; 9:30 p.m.; [price TK]

Saturday, October 11: ‘Office Space’ at Angel City Drive-in»
