There's nothing more beautiful than two words separated at birth, together at last. The long lost fraternal twins "gorilla" and "guerrilla" gloriously reunite every Thursday this month at Silverlake's Ghettogloss Gallery. Picture a bonanza of frozen bananas, free brewskis and a mystery VIP, yes—cloaked in a gorilla suit.

What could top these conditions? How about a 16mm "ape-related" film projected in the parking lot, late night shopping in their boutique of bitchin,' artsy knick-knackery and a DJ spinning until midnight? You heard us. Now toss in a little underground art, possibly some banana bread and foxy locals posing for pictures with a grown man in a monkey suit—and you've got a reason to get gorilla. Or guerrilla. Whatever.

Afterwards, amble across the street to the Cha Cha for some Corona in a can or go ape in the beer garden at the Red Lion next door. It's a jungle out there, comrades.
