We tried our best not to put another Cinefamily event in the calendar this week, but those film folks have ruthlessly good taste. So it’s our duty as professional leisurists to make you see Secondhand Sureshots, a documentary about the Dublab DJ collective. Follow four prominent L.A. wax masters—Daedelus, Nobody, J. Rocc and Ras G—as they flip through stacks of dusty vinyl in shady thrift shops in search of a holy grail of an LP to mix and scratch. The screening will be followed, of course, by some live sets and a post-show soiree. Can you blame us for telling you?
