One of the few things that Angelenos can agree on is the fact that our library kicks the crap out of just about anyone else's. From the beautifully sculptured gardens outside to the enormous escalator that takes you down six stories underground, there's enough going on visually to keep you occupied until you find the book you're looking for. The Library also hosts the ALOUD reading series where you can catch celebrity authors presenting their work.
