Located just across the generally barren parking lot for th L.A. Zoo, the Autry Museum always deserves a tip of your hat. With the majority of their exhibits focusing on Western heritage and California lore going back to the Mexican-American War, there's enough to make your high school history teacher's head spin. Currently, the folks at the Autry are teaming up with the Southwest Museum to expand their facilities, but we're making bets of how long that's going to take.
