L.A. Memorial Coliseum
4.0
- 3939 S. Figueroa St.

This old-school arena is a relic from the time before ultra-modern mega-event complexes like Staples Center, and it definitely shows it's age. While the many sports teams (from the Lakers to theTrojan basketball team of neighboring USC) have long since abandoned the historical landmark, it's still home to more down and dirty events like massive raves and concerts by acts such as Daft Punk and Manu Chao. Amenities are few, but the basics are covered. You're never too far from a beer, soda or hot dog. The area isn't the best, so pay attention. I'm not trying to scare you, I'm just saying.
