6th Street warehouse
- Neighborhood: Arts District
- 1269 6th Street
- Los Angeles , CA 90021
This amorphous warehouse space hides downtown between the bowels of skid row and the American Apparel factory. Operated by Dave Young and featuring a film screen, a halp pipe skate ramp, a thick toxic cloud of second hand smoke and scores of waifish young people, it's nearly impossible to see the art through the cave's dark haze. Keep looking, it's there somewhere. They've been throwing no-charge parties here for a while now, with lots of good local and not-so-local bands. But chances are, if you're reading this, there's probably a cover.
