The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles is the largest natural and historical museum in the Western United States, safe guarding more than 33 million spectacular, diverse specimens and artifacts.
Getting There
- Parking:

Exposition Park Lot 3, west of Menlo just south of Exposition and east of Vermont. Cost for parking is usually $6, but may be more expensive if there is an event at the Coliseum (subject to change). Museum First Friday cost for parking is $6.
Weekend Parking - Museum west lot on the weekends: $6.00 for regular guests, $3.00 for members. Museum west lot is not available for guest parking on weekdays, except on museum holidays. On USC game days East Lot is open and, at both lots, museum admission must be purchased when parking is paid for. Handicap parking is free in lots on the weekends on first-come first-served basis.
- Wheelchair Access:
- Yes. All exhibits are accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. Wheelchairs and strollers may enter through the Staff Entrance on the Ground Level.
