Tucked in the back of a strip mall in Historic Filipinotown, the little gallery Perhspace ain't too easy to find. But we recently checked out Jax Art, a monthly event combining both visual and auditory delights on a sweltering Friday night. Local bands The Valley Arena, Wake Up Incinerate, the Front and the Soft Hands nearly rocked the paintings off the walls, and the BYOB policy made for a pretty, shall we say, friendly time.
