The arts collective Goldmine Shithouse—formed years ago in Manhattan’s East Village—visits L.A. for a February residency at the new Elysian Valley art space/print house NOMAD. Artists David Hochbaum, Colin Burns and Travis Lindquist invited folks down on a rainy Friday night for a silkscreen party, some free beers, and plenty o’ artsy revelry. If you missed it, catch the opening of the collective’s exhibit “From the Inside, the Forest in Invisible,” which premieres at NOMAD on Sat., Feb. 21.
