Hundreds gathered and competed in the Grilled Cheese Invitational on Saturday, April 19 in Griffith Park. We checked it out, ate some cheese, laughed until we cried, then took a nap.

Is it art? Science? We say both

More oil = more better

The crowd serves as a mass of judges, begging for samples and filling out ballots

This guy made a mean "Missionary" standard sammich: just bread, butter and cheese
