If the corpses/parking problems at Hollywood Forever are a turn off, you have another option, comrades. The maiden screening a few weeks ago (then known as the Million Dollar Drive-In rather than the new moniker "Angel City") featured "Hairspray" and "Crybaby" projected on the brick wall of the Alexandria Hotel downtown. Being its first week, the crowd wasn't a mob scene, but attendees appeared to be diggin' it. Hop down or bike over on September 8 for "Pee Wee's Big Adventure."
