Sunset Junction: It was hot, sweaty, and jam packed with people. Of course, we were all over the festival from dancing to Autolux during their set to keeping a tally of all the kids with their Ray Ban Wayfarers (and imitations) to eating delicious tamales to giving you a comprehensive list of what (not) to do. Why all the coverage? Because Metromix loves you, and that's why we care.

Sunset Junction 2007: street scene
Once the sun went down, it was easier for the young and old alike to actually walk around. Superslides, delicious sandwiches and just plain 'ol lounging on the street: a good cap to a sun-dazed day.
Live @ Sunset Junction 2007: Saturday
In case you were waaaay in the back, here is what those in the front got to see: Metromix favs The Pity Party, Breakestra, Autolux, Blonde Redhead, Ben Harper, and Jesse De La Peña.
Live @ Sunset Junction 2007: Sunday
So you went full-throttle all day on Saturday and totally didn't wake up in time to even see Sunday's line-up. Don't worry, we got your back. Front-row view of bands The Bronx, Hot Hot Heat, Millie Jackson, She Wants Revenge, and The Buzzcocks = awesome.
Sunset Junction style
One nice thing about Sunset Junction was people watching. Saturday, we saw the return of Wayfarers in every shape (if you're rocking the imitations, that is), and color. Speaking of color, it seemed like Roy G. Biv had babies with skinny jeans. Sunday brought a more punk-rock crowd. Piercings and Mohawks anyone?
So there you have it. We have gently held your hand and guided you into the crazy weekend that was Sunset Junction. Give yourself a pat on the back. You did it!
