The Lucent Dossier Experience at the Edison

The Lucent Dossier Experience at the Edison

The Edison - 108 W. 2nd St. #101 - Downtown
Wednesdays : 9 p.m. - 12 a.m.

Every Wednesday and Sunday, the Edison proves that you’re never too old for the circus. Amidst the old generators and power plant stuffs, Lucent Dossier—a Los Angeles based hautely-dressed vaudeville troop—puts on a song and dance cabaret show sure to make all of us wish we’d followed our carnie dreams. To really get us in the mood, the bar offers a circus-style eats like the Carnival Platter—a plate of deep fried sandwiches, Twinkies, and sweet snacks for your inner kid.

Kodak Theater

Kodak Theater

6801 Hollywood Blvd - Los Angeles
323-308-6363

The ritziest, swankiest place we can think of with a red carpet and a movie screen. The Kodak Theater plays host to all kinds of gatherings, including but not limited to that little show every Spring where they give out awards for Best Actor and Best Picture. Don't forget to check out the two-story Babylonianesque portal based on the set for D.W. Griffith's 1916 period epic Intolerance. Frankly, it's kind of hard to miss.
