Dear H&B,
Is it a good idea to make jokes during sex? Or wait until it’s done?
Bedroom Stand-up
Dear BSU,
Let’s listen to rich and funny movie star Will Smith, someone who has presumably had his share of red-hot sexual intercourse, on the topic of comedy and copulation: “No one believes me, but comedy is better than muscles, money or looks,” he told Zoo magazine last year. “If you can make a girl laugh out loud, you're in there. It's almost like the pressure of the laugh makes her panties fall off.”
Notice that when Mr. Smith goes to Vaginaland, he starts the humor bus first—make her laugh, and then you’re in. As I’m unaware of your gender or sexual preference, BSU, I’d argue the same thing holds if the exotic destination is the Kingdom of Wiener. The one-liners should be intros or outros. Hopefully, the biggest joke of the night won’t be your performance between the sheets.
Dying to get some? (Sex advice, that is.)
