Hot & Bothered: shouting orders

Dear H&B,
Why is it that when you tell a guy that you like what he is doing in bed, he immediately starts doing something else? How can you get the guy to keep doing the same thing?
Don’t Go Changin’

Dear DGC,
Most men don’t like taking orders, DCG—(1) from women, (2) in the sack. Of course, your sensitive/intelligent/lazy brand of dude should gladly pay attention to a woman’s sheet-based orders-cum-compliments, and life will be perfect. If, however, he is resistant to your suggestions, it could be how (not what) you’re telling him. Don’t use the same tone you apply when yelling for a new roll of toilet paper. And if your idea of telling him amounts to barnyard-like grunts of passion that he’s supposed to interpret as “a little to the left, champ—now pretend your tongue is a boxing glove and my clitoris is a speed bag,” well, as always, it boils down to making certain things are communicated loud (or soft) and clear.

Next question: Is it true that men feel more bonded toward women after sex?>>
