had heard about the new M Cafe through a friend that had been to Calamigos ranch wedding and stumbled upon the hidden M Cafe Very beautiful hidden oasis relaxed setting complete with cute white ducks and a pond and an outside pool table and phenomenal decor with elegance of private cabanas and a treehouse deck atmosphere. Its ambieance is that of attending dinner at a friends home and the warmness of the staff makes you feel just that, like a visiting family. Its a great retreat from the hecticness of city. The staff was unbelievably friendly. Chef was fabulous and most personable I ever encountered in a restaurant to date, warmheartedness paired with unique social skills and comfortable with the clientele as he was in the kitchen. Everything was delicious on the menu Between our party we shared some items and were fighting for the last bites, We started with the potato leek soups and quickly added a tomato soup and the Steak Chili -we scraped the bowls clean and had to try the lobster egg rolls- fantastic. a great way to start. Delicious on all account, After a couple drinks we ordered dinner and the Filet was cooked to perfection, The rack of ribs fell off the bone to melt in your mouth, succulent, the mashed potatoes were out of this world, The chicken was also delicious. I would recommend this quiet hidden relaxing gem to anybody. Kudos to having such a personable staff on hand to make us all feel at home. If this place had some heavy advertisement, I think it would be filled daily with locals and sight seers. Definitely off the beaten path, but a welcome change. We will be back and best of luck in the future.

Come on down and get your groove on THIS SUNDAY with our guest DJ Rampage this week. She is formally the drummer for Tribe 8 and has spun all over New York City...she is sure to rock the house. Drinks are reasonable and the cover is cheap. A great week to come check us Harlow Gold out.

NarinH wrote about The Rack
I would never recommend The Rack to anybody, if you don't go in there and spend all your money, the owner of the place will come up to you and tell you that you're not spending enough and he has rent to pay!! YES! this actually happens at this place so unless you're loaded and are ready to spend your paycheck there I wouldn't even bother.

WOW! It would be really cool if LOS ANGELES METROMIX get someone half competent to do these reviews. You know ? Someone with only a TAD of competence. BREAKING NEWS: 1. ONLY OPEN ON THURS AND SAT 2. ONLY OPEN TO RESERVED BOTTLE SERVICE (3 BOTTLE MINIMUM) YEAH INCOMPITENTI : You left a little tiny something out of your review. Incompetent.

BAD....BAD...BAD Service!!!! I went to day for lunch at 11:45. Waitress was very RUDE! When we asked her for service she just gave us a mean look. I rather pay for decent food with great customer service. The portion of the food size is very small. If your a guy you will leave hungry and low in cash. My coworkers and I waited 50min to get our food and we didn't even get a refill on the bread. I told the entire office not to go. I normally don't leave feed back but the service was so bad that I had to create an account. DO NOT RECOMMEND

It's been a few months since I've done Yoga, and having spotted this place on my lunch break last week, I thought I'd give it a try. I absolutely loved it. Maureen, the instructor was attentive and very helpful. The space itself is extremely calming- I love the high ceilings. The studio runs on donations (suggested donation $16) but very low pressure, just drop your cash in the box at the end of the session. Definitely one of the best yoga experiences I have had to date. Can't wait to go back- tonight !

1. Meet local hipster at a show at The Echo (conveniently located two doors down from Two Boots) 2. Invite hipster for a slice of pizza while opening act figures out what's causing all that feedback 3. Marry hipster, have hipster kids, and hire a hipster robot nanny to take care of them while you and your Echo Park life partner take a romantic stroll back to Two Boots to celebrate twenty years of wedded hipster bliss over a slice of Larry Tate, their garlicky white pie It could happen.

Originally from NY, I expected better. The place dirty, tables filthy, had to clean our own; value for the size was worthless; the server/cashier a ditz. Only dough/crust, was good, but the server did not put the spinach on top of our white pizza that we requested. At first we thought the dark green parsley bits in the cheese must be the spinach, but when we walked out, the server was giving others mounds of spinach and when we complained the mgr was belligerent and nasty. I don't care how many movie stars have visited, never again!!

This is a nice Salvadoran bakery, their quezadillas are the best, they also have really good pastry, definitely a good bakery, service is good, value and good quality.

A serious-minded piece of theatre. The talented cast rises up to the challenge of crisp, occasionally overwrought, and highly ambitious writing. Recommended. Be ready for a three-hour runtime, though.

This place is fun. Fun until the bartender loses your credit card. Not cool and a huge pain- but they were decent about it and comped some drinks when I came back to inquire about it the next day... All that headache aside, a fun place to start a night out in Venice. They close kind of obscenely early, with last call sometime around 12:30 am... Gets busy on the weekends and there is sometimes a line, which seems a little ridiculous in this neighborhood, but I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes so no big deal. Also, I am kind of in love with the DJ who's there on the weekends. Lost credit card and all, I'll be back.
KaitlynMcC wrote about Redwood Bar & Grill
This place is great. It doesn't hurt that I work 1/2 block away either. A nice spot to grab a beer, and their food is surprisingly delicious. Their sweet potato fries are yummy. The ambiance is fun- a little bit moody, a little bit nautical... Live music on some nights, though I haven't experienced it just yet, myself. Anyway, just a solid place to grab a beer and meet up with friends.
KaitlynMcC wrote about Copa d'Oro
One of my favorite spots in Santa Monica to grab a drink. They do a great happy hour- 5 dollar cocktails! And any bar that has PB & J sandwiches on the menu is fine by me.
KaitlynMcC wrote about Huckleberry
A little pricey, but absolutely delicious. I opted for the roasted turkey sandwich and was not disappointed. The bread was soft and fresh, and with cheddar cheese, grapes and dijon mustard it's definitely not your run of the mill sandwich. Gets pretty crazy on the weekends so expect a wait, and can be a bit of struggle to get a table- but it's well worth the chaos!
