The Lady: Kate Capshaw
The Love: The strange man-boy love between Short Round and Indy stole the show in this “Raiders” follow-up, leaving Capshaw to play second best as the annoyingly prissy showgirl Willie Scott. Whether riding elephants, witnessing hearts torn from chests, or shrieking over a feast of monkey brains, she never failed to assault the ears with her piercing complaints.
Chemistry: 4. You can never tell if Indy hates to love or loves to hate her. Besides, it seems the real chemistry was happening offscreen between Capshaw and director Steven Spielberg.
