"Batman and Robin" (1997)

How it turned out: Director Joel Schumacher's follow-up to "Batman Forever" remains the best of example of how it can all go so very, very wrong. The rubber suits with nipples, Batman butt shots, awful one-liners (Arnold actually says “Ice to see you!”) and neon-clad villains all led to a mega-flop that nearly killed interest in superhero flicks altogether and kept Batman off the screen for almost a decade.
