Legal intern Rick (Ben Gourley, also the film’s writer and producer) agrees to do a favor for his boss, McAllister (Rutger Hauer, “Batman Begins”), by driving the man’s niece (Mila Kunis, “That ‘70s Show”) from Miami to Hollywood. Their wacky road trip misadventures are supposed to prove that opposites really do attract. Plus, “Napoleon Dynamite” star Jon Heder shows up as a hitchhiker on a spiritual quest.

Big question: Quick show of hands—does anyone actually care?

Skip it: Painful in just about every respect, this wannabe romantic comedy is never remotely funny or romantic. Kunis at least has a bit of sitcom spunk but Gourley is no more than blandly competent, and together they have zero chemistry. Of course, it’s hard to work up a spark in a movie that tries to get laughs from a flatulent pig and Gourley projectile vomiting in a hot tub.

Catch it: Unless you’re related to someone in it there really isn’t a single reason to see this movie.

Bottom line: You’ve been warned.

Bonus: Gourley proudly notes in the film’s production notes that the projectile vomit was real. What a committed actor!
