He definitely stepped outside his box with this album! After only hearing it once, I am already in love with Punch Drunk Love and Sex for Sugar. Chi-town music is the best!

i disagree! im a big common fan and this album is CRAZY...he stepped outside of the box and you can play it from start to end. We as a people must evolve and see each album as a phase in someones life as well as art....most all art is good depending upon how you are able to look at it. Now i agree i was shocked by some of his lyrics because hes known as the "good guy" but hey we all have a bad side....gotta let it out sometimes
