The biggest Doll in the Pussycat house, Ms. Scherzinger seemed destined for solo success. But her solo debut has been postponed numerous times, with various sources blaming everything from the poor performance of pre-release singles, release date conflicts with Jay-Z and other artists, her time commitments to the Pussycat Dolls, and even the need for a near-total re-recording of the record. What’s really keeping “Her Name Is Nicole” from the public is anyone’s guess, but this album, originally slated for 2007, might never release at this rate.
