Years in development: three
Indie hip-hop’s favorite masked man is known for great collaborations—he’s worked with everyone from Danger Mouse to legendary Stone’s Throw producer Madlib—but a long-awaited projected with the Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface would bring MF Doom more mainstream attention than he’s ever received. Supposedly, the album is nearly complete, but whether that’s true—or even if the album ever comes out at all—is another matter. So far, the release date’s been pushed back, one track has leaked, and the name’s been changed. All signs point to further delays.
