From the late 1960s through the 1990s, the Forum was home to the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team and NHL franchise the LA Kings. When both teams moved to Staples Center, the Forum has become something of a forgotten giant, hosting Sunday church services and not too much else. Until now. The Forum is quietly becoming the new spot for big-time bands to play an open-floor arena in the LA area, perfect for lawless nights rocking out. Both the White Stripes and Interpol have dates set for 2007. Expect more to follow.
