This kitschy Jewish dive bar next door to the famous Canter's Deli attracts hipsters for its up and coming rock and alternative acts, from the Kooks the C.R.A.F.T. Club. The staff is friendly, but beware of the bathrooms and the sticky seats. Open from 10 a.m. every day, The Kibitz Room is a great place for a morning brew and a big bowl of matzo ball soup (ask for two spoons to make the meal romantic and cheap).
