The Smashing Pumpkins show last night, Nov 18th, at the Chicago Theater was a major disappoinment. What should have been a celebration of 20 years of amazing music turned into a bitter rant by a spoiled rock star. Billy compared us to past girlfriends who only wanted him for his money. When someone yelled "Chicago Loves You!" Billy responed with "That's not what the record sales say.". We didn't get an encore because apparently we didn't cheer hard enough during the 25min psychodelic trip he took us on. We didn't cheer because we were all lulled into a coma!!!! My advice to those with tickets to the next shows, sell them off and stay home, I'm sure someone in your family will be happy to insult you for free.
